Beer Consumption in Angola

According to stats, about 27% of Angolans, aged 18 andover, are reported as having consuming beer.

Cabinda, Lunda Norte, Lunda Sul and Benguela are the provinces with highest beer consumption rate in the country. While in contrast, Kuando Kubango, Huila and Huambo provinces have reported less beer consumption.

The most preferred place of purchase is usually atcanteens “Cantinas”, at neighbors and on the street and beer is mostly consumed1 to 3 times a week.
